Alveley Community First Responders are volunteers who are trained and qualified by the West Midlands Ambulance Service to a nationally recognised standard and provide life saving treatment like CPR, defibrillation, trauma care and other life saving techniques for various emergency situations.
We provide a voluntary service to people in our village community of Alveley and surrounding rural areas between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster in the Severn valley area of Shropshire including the villages of Upper Arley, Shatterford, Romsley, Quatt, Dudmaston and Quatford.
Working alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service we are tasked to 999 calls by their control room team always being backed up by the nearest available ambulance crew. In certain instances our team also work alongside critical care paramedics of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
